What will your job be like?

As Head of Manufacturing Engineering you will be responsible for introducing new projects into the SAP system. You will also be in charge of:

• Carrying out change procedures on existing projects
• Writing manufacturing procedures with regard to the efficiency, cost and economy of the individual production processes
• Responsibility for fine-tuning the production flows within the halls and lines
• Designing and developing production equipment, tooling and fixtures together with the toolroom designer
• Validating and verifying the proposed fixtures directly in the production flow
• Responsibility for the production technologies (robots, lasers etc.) and their use in terms of capacity and suitability

Is this position for you?

• Secondary or university technical education - mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and technologies
• Very good technical level
• Ability to read technical documentation
• Knowledge of geometric and dimensional tolerances
• Writing manufacturing procedures
• Experience with an ERP system - SAP is an advantage
• Experience with welding processes is an advantage
• A foreign language - English or German at a communicative level is essential
• Independence, communication skills, ability to avoid conflict, precision, responsibility for projects
