What will your job be like?
The main task in the machinist position is to operate NC lathes and milling machines and to machine internal and external surfaces, including reaming, milling and grinding.
- Machining metal - milling and grinding
- Reading and using technical documentation is a matter of course
- Determining suitable working procedures and methods
- Determining the parameters of the semi-finished part and assembling the tools and materials needed for the process
- Setting up the machine tools
- Checking the tools and the settings using the relevant controls
- Testing and inspecting the manufactured parts
Is this position for you?
- Secondary technical education or vocational training in a related field (an advantage)
- Experience is an advantage
- Training provided
- Ability to read technical documentation
- Knowledge of measuring
