What will your job be like?
In this position you will prepare partial designs of heat treatment procedures for products according to the applicable standards. You will also be in charge of:
- Checking compliance with the metallurgical rules and heat treatment procedures.
- Providing the technical preparation for changes in the product range and for the introduction of new products.
- Evaluating metallographic sections and structures.
- Evaluating test results and dealing with non-conforming products.
- Preparing source data for optimising production costs.
- Preparing technical and economic source data for the tendering process.
- Providing source data for setting time consumption standards.
- Keeping the relevant technical documentation.
- Entering technical and economic data into the data network
Is this position for you?
- Secondary or university education in materials engineering
- At least 5 years of experience with secondary education, at least 2 years with university education
- Knowledge of metal heat treatment technology, the basics of metal metallurgy and material standards, and the basic mechanical properties of steels and alloys
- Resistance to stress
- Proactive approach to problem solving
- Reliability, independence, organisational skills, creativity and manual dexterity
- Computer skills, the basics of the QMS and EMS quality concepts
